MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

If there's one thing Alabamians do well its support those in need – that is the mission of today's first ever Alabama Gives Day.

Alabamians are coming together today for 24 hours of unprecedented giving ending tonight at midnight. Radio and Television stations across the state are supporting this extraordinary day to help the organizations that make Alabama special. And it's your chance to make a real impact!

Whether you have a favorite cause or not, we encourage you to explore the many missions of the participating nonprofits and help show Alabama's unparalleled generosity to the world by making your tax-deductible gift today.

The collective goal today is to raise a record amount of money for hundreds of participating nonprofits statewide. You may choose from a list of participating nonprofits to benefit from your online gift. It's easy, it's safe, it's rewarding and your gift matters!

We hope you will log onto wsfa.com today and click on the Alabama Gives Day link and help in any way you can.

We appreciate and encourage your feedback.
