Koman Backs Off

The Susan G. Koman for the Cure won't cut funding to Planned Parenthood. The group made the decision to stop funding Planned Parenthood earlier in the week after saying past grants with the organization no longer met the criteria of their new standards. At 5:00pm we'll tell you what caused one top official with the Foundation to resign.

The final charge against Ray Crosby, a defendant in the Statehouse Corruption trial, was dropped today. Crosby unexpectedly died last Sunday, a day before the retrial against him and six other defendants was set to begin.

Why were you late for work this morning? Try cows blocking the road!  Around 5:00am  a cattle truck carrying about 100 head of cattle overturned near mile marker 29 in Macon County, that's between the Tallassee and Tuskegee exits.  It took crews several hours to clear the road.

And, check your fridge. We've got news about a recall of hard cooked eggs.

Join us for these stories plus weather and sports tonight at 5:00 and 6:00 on WSFA 12 News.

See ya then,

Valorie Lawson
