FIRE VICTIM JUST 15 MONTHS OLD... - Montgomery Alabama news.


Tonight, a young Autaugaville mother is in a burn unit in an Atlanta hospital after she went back into a burning house to try and rescue her toddler son.  Sadly, the baby did not survive the blaze.  We'll take you to the scene of the fire and talk with relatives who tell us how the husband and two daughters are coping with their loss.

Montgomery Police want to know why 8 people were inside one sedan involved in a two collision with a supply truck on I-65. Four people in the car suffered critical injuries.  The truck driver was hurt, too.

State lawmakers return to Montgomery tomorrow for the start of the regular session. We'll tell you how they'll try and create jobs in the private sector while facing the likelihood of laying off state workers to balance the state's General Fund Budget.

And, the slow and deliberate process of selecting the jury for the State House corruption trial is underway. Lawyers predict it could take the rest of the week to seat the jury to hear the charges against state lawmakers, lobbyists and a casino owner.
