Tim Tebow coming to Alabama, 3/16

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Heisman Trophy winner and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is coming to Alabama were he'll be the featured speaker for "Baptist Health presents: An Evening With Tim Tebow", benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama.

The event will be Friday, March 16, 2012 (3:16 for those who follow Tebow closely) at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center. The RMCC is located at 201 Tallapoosa Street in downtown Montgomery.

A VIP reception will occur at 6pm, followed by a dinner at 7pm. WSFA Sports Anchor Jeff Shearer will lead the "chat" with Mr. Tebow during a Q&A session. In addition, there will be both silent and live auctions during the evening.

Tickets for Baptist Health presents An Evening With Tim Tebow, benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama will go on sale Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10am.

General admission tickets are $100 for the dinner, auction and program. A limited number of tickets for the VIP reception, dinner and auction, will be available for $400. Tables of eight are $1200.

TICKETS DO NOT GO ON SALE UNTIL FRIDAY - 2/10. 

Since its incorporation in 1997, the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama (CWFCA) has provided hope as well as support and educational services to address the needs of cancer patients and their families in a 33-county area of central Alabama.

Specifically, in 2011 the Foundation connected 1,043 cancer patients with almost $5.2 million in services including transportation, medications, and nutritional supplements.
