MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) -

The Alabama House passed the Heroes for Hire Act.

The vote passed unanimously on Tuesday.

The bill is sponsored by Rep. DuWayne Bridges of Valley.

The act would help veterans returning home from the war find employment.

It would also give businesses tax incentives for hiring them.

It now goes to the Senate for a vote.
