HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
One valley woman decided to pay it forward to celebrate her birthday on Saturday.
Jessica McNair gathered her friends and family to do 30 random acts of kindness for her 30th birthday.
The group dropped off items at the downtown rescue mission, paid for strangers' car washes and fast food meals, and even brought breakfast to a fire station.
"I didn't want it to be a sad day because so many people act like 30 is a huge deal so I wanted to make it a big event, and I figured what better way than to do something for other people?" said Jessica McNair.
McNair says she hopes this will inspire people to help others anytime they can.
