Man Acquitted in Wife's Death

 

An Alabama Judge has acquitted Gabe Watson.  He's the man accused of drowning his newlywed wife Tina Watson while on their Australian honeymoon. Circuit Judge Tommy Nail ruled prosecutors failed to present enough evidence to send the case to a jury. Watson had faced life in prison without parole if convicted.

Autauga County Investigators believe they've  solved a 6 year old murder case.  53 year old Patricia Lasserre was found dead next to her S-U-V in a wooded area in the Vida community in December of 2005. Today, authorities arrested Clifford Winn of Selma. Our Bryan Henry is covering this story. He'll have the latest.

More than 30 people have been arrested in Troy for underage drinking. Police say it happened last night at a club called 315 Exchange. Two bartenders and the club's owner also face charges.
