Update on bald eagle found shot

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

A $2,500 reward is being offered for information in the wounding of a bald eagle found in Tuscaloosa County.

Wildlife investigators are offering the reward after an eagle was found next to the Sipsey River on Upper Columbus Road with a shot wound to the wing and skull.  

The eagle is recovering at the Southeastern Raptor Center in Auburn and is expected to be released into the wild after recovery.
