A high tech program proves effective in curbing meth production...

Hello from the WSFA 12 Newsroom.

The menace of meth is a plague on a segment of our population.  It also saps the resources of many law enforcement agencies.  But tonight, we'll show you a program that appears to be working well in limiting meth makers access to a key ingredient.

A second student has died after a school shooting in Ohio.  Tonight we'll take you there for the latest on what caused a fellow student to open fire killing two schoolmates and wounding at least four others.

Around the country Hyundai dealers are bracing for possible protests of Alabama's new immigration law.  Hyundai's only U.S. manufacturing plant is here in Montgomery County.

At Auburn football games, "Mr. Penny" is known for doing push up's when the Tigers score.  Now he's clinging to life at East Alabama Medical Center in Auburn after suffering what police tell us was a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound.
