This is Leslie Bailey's recipe prepared Wednesday during WSFA 12 News' Alabama Live!. 

SISSY'S SURPRISE!! APPLE DUMPLINGS

2 GRANNY SMITH APPLES

2 CANS OF CRESENT ROLLS

2 STICKS OF BUTTER

1 AND ½ CUPS OF BROWN SUGAR

1 TSP OF VANILLA

CINNAMON

1 CAN OF MOUNTAIN DEW 

PEEL APPLES AND CORE THEM. CUT INTO 4 PIECES

AND WRAP IN CRESENT ROLL

MELT BUTTER AND SSTIR IN BROWN SUGAR VANILLA AND CINNAMON

POUR OVER DUMPLINGS

POUR MOUNTAIN DEW AROUND THE EDGES OF THE PAN AND BAKE AT 350 FOR 40 MINUTES
