Enterprise remembers victims of its deadly tornado 5 years ago

This is a solemn anniversary for people in Enterprise...especially for the families of the eight high school students and an adult who died when the EF-4 twisters struck five years ago.  We are there for the memorials.

Folks in Geneva County thought they had their own tornado this afternoon when high winds damaged structures in the town of Slocomb.  The weather service will make that call.

The Montgomery County School Board voted to clean house at one local high school...not renewing all non-tenured teachers and relocating all others - and administrators, too.  We'll have more on the reasons for the radical decision coming up at 10.

In Selma tonight people turned out for the first of a long weekend of celebrations commemorating "Bloody Sunday."  We'll take you to tonight's mass meeting that began this year's Bridge Crossing Jubilee.

And, Rich talks about the chance of more severe weather moving into our area by this time tomorrow night.  It's a forecast you need to see.

I'll see you on the set.

Bob H.

P.S. Make sure to have fresh batteries in your weather radio...and have it turned on tomorrow night!
