Weather delays AHSAA Final 48 games

The Alabama High School Athletic Association has postponed two state championship basketball games because of inclement weather.

The Class 3A girls and boys title games were moved from Friday evening to Saturday morning at the BJCC Arena.

The AHSAA made the decision on the advice of the National Weather Service.

Eight championship games will be played on Saturday.

The AHSAA said safety plans are in place at the BJCC Arena in case of a severe weather threat.
