Alabama Gymnastics Ranks Fourth Nationally

The Alabama gymnastics team is ranked fourth in the nation as they return home to face No. 14 Missouri Friday, March 9th at 7:30pm.

This week Alabama moved up one spot to No. 4 after posting the nation's top road score last week against the Sooners. The Tide is No. 2 on the vault again this week, but moved up two spots to third on the floor exercise. Alabama is ranked fifth on the balance beam and eighth on the uneven bars.

Senior Ashley Priess is ranked ninth individually on the balance beam and 12th on the uneven bars this week. Priess is joined in the uneven bars rankings with Senior Geralen Stack-Eaton at No. 20. Sophomore Kim Jacob joins Priess in the balance beam rankings, coming in at No. 22.

Four Alabama vaulters are tied for 17th this week, including Stack-Eaton, junior Ashley Sledge, sophomore Diandra Milliner and junior Marissa Gutierrez. Gutierrez is also ranked 22nd on the floor exercise.
