Chardon shooting victim Demetrius Hewlin laid to rest

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -

Funeral services held Tuesday morning for 16-year-old Demetrius Hewlin.

The teen was one of three students fatally shot in the Chardon High School cafeteria last Monday.

The funeral mass for Demetrius was held at St. Mary Church on North Street.

There was a huge outpouring of support during visitation Monday night. Hundreds of people showed up, even after visitation hours were over.
