MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Two of the three suspects arrested in connect with a burglary and high-speed chase in Montgomery Tuesday morning are being identified. The third is a minor and his name is not being released.

Darryl Timmons, 22, Christopher Tyson, 20, and a 17-year-old juvenile were taken into custody after a vigilant neighbor noticed a burglary as it was taking place at a home on Yancey Avenue.

The neighbor called authorities and was able to provide a description of the suspects' vehicle.

Police units made contact with the suspects' maroon Ford Windstar van and attempted to initiate a traffic stop at Upper Wetumpka Road and Vandiver. The suspects then fled from authorities.

The suspects fled onto Columbus, Tallapoosa, Maxwell Boulevard and then to May Street. The van crashed in a field at the intersect of May and Rice.

Montgomery police cars converged on the get-away vehicle after the crash, but all three occupants fled the scene on foot. Each was taken into custody a short time afterward.

The suspects are identified as three males, ages 17, 20 and 22. Investigators say a search of the van yielded property believed stolen from the burglary on Yancey Street.

There were no injuries reported.

Timmons and Tyson were transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility where each was being held under bonds totaling $15,000. The juvenile was placed in the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.
