Slick roads lead to one vehicle accident in Longview

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Authorities say wet roads and speed are to blame as the result of a one vehicle accident in Longview.

Officials were called to the 700 block of S. Highway 31 in Longview Saturday evening and were told there were injuries. However upon arrival authorities say no one was injured in the accident.

A vehicle was traveling southbound on S. Highway 31 when it slid on the roadway while trying to turn in front of the Hollywood Movies 9. Officials say it then hit a power pole and spun into the median of the roadway.
