Election Eve


It's the eve of the 2012 primary election and Republican candidates, including those running for President, are criss crossing the state in hopes of getting your vote. Today, presidential candidate Rick Santorum was in the capital city.  Tonight, he will take part in a forum in Birmingham.

Speaking of elections, hundreds of  volunteers and election workers are getting the polls ready for tomorrow's big vote. With new district lines in Montgomery, election officials want to make sure residents know where to cast their votes. We've got a preview of what you need to know.

The state is rolling out the red carpet for several visiting celebrities and politicians from China. Our Max Reiss will tell us what it could mean for Alabama.  

Police are hoping to get more answers after a weekend murder in Elmore County.  Police say 41-year-old Jamie Slay shot and killed 31 year old Patricia Allen. Authorities say it happened after an afternoon of drinking.
