The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has arrested Rebecca Gale Fountain, 34, on a charge of murder.

According to a press release, deputies were dispatched to the 9200 block of State Highway 7 West, in reference to a man who was stabbed.

Deputies Jimmy Wagstaff and Gina Breseman arrived at the residence and found Mark Allen Ray, 39, lying on the bedroom floor with a stab wound to the chest and dead.

After investigating the incident, deputies arrested Fountain, who is in the Shelby County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
