MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

An 18-wheeler carrying a load of steel coils overturned at the interchange from Interstate 65 North onto Interstate 85 North Tuesday morning.

Traffic was halted for a brief time, but the scene has since been cleared.

WSFA 12 News Twitter follower posted a photo showing the 18-wheeler sitting on its side in the interstate.

Montgomery Police Department spokeswoman Martha Earnhardt said no injuries were reported and that only the 18-wheeler was involved in the crash.

An investigation into why the truck crashed is under way. No other information is immediately available.
