The community is uniting to help catch the criminals who desecrated a piece of Montgomery history. The vandalism of Rosa Parks' home angered many across the city and hundreds have donated in an effort to help find those responsible. Released by the Harrison County Sheriff's Office:
HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Harrison County Sheriff's Office investigators, acting on information recently received relating to several fires in the Woodlawn area; working in conjunction with the Woodlawn Fire Department and the Harrison County Fire Marshal's Office, interviewed a suspect and subsequently arrested Mr. Dylan Morgan, W/M/2-10-1995.
The suspect is a resident of the Chaparral Ranch sub-division which is located West of Hwy 59 on FM 1997 and is in the immediate area of several of the suspect fires.
Mr. Morgan is currently charged with the arson fire of the Woodlawn Baptist Church Fellowship Hall that occurred on February 22, 2012. Other alleged offenses will be referred to the Harrison County District Attorney for Grand Jury review.
