Biscuits tickets go on-sale Saturday

The Montgomery Biscuits are excited to announce the launch of single-game ticket sales for the 2012 season. Tickets for each of the 70 Biscuits' regular season games will be available for purchase in person at the Riverwalk Stadium Box Office or online at beginning at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31st.

2012 will feature the debut of BiscuitsVision HD, centered around a state-of-the-art new video board and ribbon board. The video board is four times larger than the original, and is the largest in the Southern League. The 100-foot ribbon board, which runs along the left field wall, is the only board of its kind in the Southern League, and one of the largest in all of minor league baseball.

"Single game ticket launch is always an exciting time," said Biscuits General Manager Marla Vickers. "We're especially excited this year to be launching BiscuitsVision HD, and for our fans to enjoy an entirely new level of entertainment as a result."

The 2012 promotional schedule is highlighted by the return of the Thirsty Thursday Concert Series, which will feature six post-game concerts on nights including 80's Night and Salute to Southern Rock Night. New in 2012 are The History of Baseball in Montgomery… A Celebration, Fright Night, and Olympics Tribute Night.

"We are excited that this season's schedule offers something for everybody," continued Vickers. "We listened to our fans and are sticking with some Riverwalk Stadium classics while at the same time adding some exciting new things to complement the launch of BiscuitsVision HD."

Back in 2012 are popular weekly promotions including Dollar Dog Tuesdays, Military Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and Kids' Day on Sundays. 2012 will also see 19 of the tremendously popular MAX Fireworks Spectaculars.

Fans can look forward to exciting giveaways from Alfa Insurance (Big Mo Garden Gnome)  and AUM (Monty the Biscuit Bobblebank), the return of Ladies Night, Auburn/Alabama Night presented by WLWI & 95.1 The Fox, WSFA's Summer Entertainment Series, and plenty more.
