SKULL VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -

Homeowners returned to their house to find a homeless man sitting on their couch watching TV in the buff.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said the Skull Valley residents had been out of town for several days and when they got home Thursday morning there was a clothes-less transient inside, later identified as 44-year-old Douglas O'Neil.

The residents said after telling him to leave, O'Neil stood up, put on his pants and calmly walked out the front door.

Rum and food were missing and they called YCSO.

Deputies said O'Neil broke a side door window panel to get into their home.

O'Neil told deputies he got on a freight train in Phoenix, jumped off in Skull Valley and went in their home.

O'Neil told police he was only in the house for two hours.

Deputies said besides consuming liquor, food and taking a bath, nothing was stolen from the home.

O'Neil was booked for burglary, trespassing, criminal damage and indecent exposure.
