President Obama takes a big political risk

It's the biggest story of the afternoon. President Obama took a big political risk today. He came out in support of gay marriage. Will it win him re-election? Or will the decision back fire? We'll have complete coverage for you today at 5:00.

With only two meeting days left in the legislative session, it has been a busy day at the Alabama State House. First, a house panel approved an education budget that would save about 250 teacher's jobs when compared with the senate version.

The General Fund budget, which funds all non-education agencies, is before the senate right now. Get a live update from the legislature tonight at 6:00.

Meanwhile, Governor Bentley signed a bill into law today that increases the penalties for those who commit unemployment fraud. The new law prevents violators from receiving future unemployment benefits.

We'll see you for more details at 5:00, 6:00, 9:00 and 10:00!
