OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles that happened Saturday morning near Opelika. Troopers say an Auburn man was killed. Three other victims were injured.

The crash happened at approximately at 8:35am on Alabama 169. That's about six miles east of Opelika.

Cameron Norred, 24, was killed when the 1988 Nissan pickup truck he was riding in collided with a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV.

The truck was driven by 21-year-old Allan Smallwood of Opelika. The SUV was driven by James McDonald, 28, also of Opelika. Both Smallwood and McDonald, and a passenger in McDonald's vehicle identified as William Fausz of Andalusia were taken to local hospitals for their injuries.

No additional information is available at this time as State Troopers continue to investigate.
