Chilton County High School's baseball coach will keep his job, the school board decided in Tuesday's meeting.
Dozens of supporters attended the meeting, carrying signs and petitions displaying support for coach Josey Shannon.
The principal, Greg DeJarnett, said he had some issues with how Coach Josey and a booster club conducted fundraisers without his knowledge.
The school board sided with supporters and Coach Josey will continue in his position as head coach for the Chilton County Tigers' baseball team.
