CLANTON, AL (WSFA) -
Alabama State Troopers are working to determine the cause of a single-vehicle crash that took the life of a Clanton man Wednesday.
Michael Haynes, 41, was killed when the 2000 Freightliner CL120 he was driving south on Coosa County 55 ran off the roadway and overturned. The accident happened approximately five miles from the Chilton County line.
Haynes died at the scene, according to Troopers.
The truck he was driving was loaded with logs. No further information is available as an investigation continues.
