BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference placed nine in the NCAA Softball Tournament and has now advanced four teams to the NCAA Super Regional Rounds. No. 2 seed Alabama, No. 7 seed Tennessee, No. 10 seed Georgia and LSU will all compete in the best two of three series, May 24-27, aiming for a berth to the Women's College World Series, May 31-June 6. All of the games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Tennessee, making its fifth trip to NCAA Super Regionals, opens up the weekend by hosting SEC foe Georgia on Saturday, May 26 at Noon ET on ESPNU. Game two will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 27 on ESPN. The ‘if' game is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and will air live on ESPN.
The Crimson Tide, hosting its fifth straight Super Regional, will welcome Michigan on Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on ESPN2. Game two will be played on Friday at 6 p.m. CT and will air live on ESPN2.
LSU will travel to No. 9 seed Missouri on Saturday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU. Game two will be played on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU. The ‘if' game is slated for Sunday at 5 p.m. CT ON ESPNU.
