MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) -
A Montgomery escaped inmate from the Alabama Department of Corrections State Cattle Ranch was captured Monday in Greensboro.
William Keith Bivins was reported missing after he could not be located during a 1 p.m. institutional count, and a subsequent search of the facility produced negative results.
Bivins was captured around 11:15 Monday afternoon on Highway 9 in Greensboro.
He was returned to the Kilby Correctional Facility.
Bivins is serving a 33 year sentence for robbery out of Houston County. He has served more than ten years of his sentence with a minimum release date of January, 2035.
