Montgomery Co. double-fatal crash victims IDed

MONTGOMERY CO., AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State Troopers are identifying the victims involved in a double-fatal collision that took place on AL 110 at the intersection of Barganier Road Tuesday afternoon.

Two Montgomery men were killed and two other Montgomery men were injured in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a Chevrolet Impala sedan.

Kevin Lamont Whitfield, 45, was killed when the car he was driving collided with the tractor trailer driven by Swinski Carter, 44, of Thomasville, Georgia. Carter was not injured.

John Edward Miller, 40, was one of Whitfield's passengers and was also killed in the crash.

Whitfield's other passengers, Jimmy Stoval, 45, and Leshun Bean, 27, were taken to Jackson Hospital for their injuries. Bean was later flown to UAB in Birmingham.

No additional information is available at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
