Investigation continues in Lowndes County

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is still trying to connect the dots in the disappearance of two children and their caregiver and a recent homicide. Nine year old twins Taylor and Jordan DeJerinett and family friend Jack Mac Girdner went missing Sunday in Lowdnes County.

Tametria Conner is following the story.  She'll have the very latest.

The City of Montgomery is investigating its 11th homicide of the year. It happened in the 2100 block of Traction Avenue early this morning. Police say one person died from a single gunshot wound. No one has been arrested.  Authorities are looking for a suspect and a motive.

No charges will be filed in the death of a Prattville toddler. The two year old was run over and killed last week at a home on East 6th Street. Police say the child was running to greet her grandmother as she got out of a car. The car rolled backwards hitting them both.

Governor Bentley has signed a bill that makes it easier for local farmers to sell their produce to public schools, along with another bill restricting protest of at the funerals of fallen soldiers and other victims.
