A Valley do-gooder who took in what looked like a lost kitten was shocked to learn the animal was no house cat - it was a bobcat.
The unidentified person found the bobcat walking alone near Cave Creek and Dymanite, according to Bretta Nelson of the Arizona Humane Society.
There was no mother in sight.
The rescuer took the bobcat home and was bottlefeeding it when the true identity of the animal became clear.
Nelson said the rescuer decided to take the bobcat to her facility, but AHS doesn't deal with wild animals.
The next stop was Southwest Wildlife, where the animal is currently staying.
