MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) -

Family and friends gathered Monday for a double funeral service for the nine-year-old Lowndes County twins police say were murdered along with their babysitter last week.

The funerals for Taylor and Jordan Dejerinett were held Monday, June 11 at 1 p.m. at the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery.

Our sister station WSFA was invited by the family to cover the funeral. The family members wore white clothing to symbolize that the twins are "angels now in Heaven," according to a post on WSFA's Facebook page.

The arrangements for the twin's babysitter, 73-year-old Jack Mac Girdner, have not yet been released.

The suspect in the triple homicide, Deandra Marquis Lee, was arrested Saturday, June 9 in Selma.
