MONTGOMERY, AL -
The Alabama Department of Corrections is issuing an escaped inmate notice for Jeffery Howard Urquhart. He is an escapee from the Childersburg Work Release Center.
On June 10, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Urquhart was reported missing from his job site in Pell City, Alabama. Urquhart could not be located during a subsequent ADOC search of the location.
Urquhart is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 144 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.
He is sentenced out of Montgomery County on May 19, 2011, and is serving a three year sentence for burglary and theft of property.
Urquhart's expiration of sentence date is scheduled for October 4, 2013. No parole date is currently scheduled.
The ADOC Investigations and Intelligence Division are assisting with locating and apprehending inmate Urquhart.
