A charity motorcycle ride more than doubled the amount of money Tuscaloosa law enforcement needs to pay for its Crime Stoppers program.
Authorities raised more than $7,500 Saturday. Crime Stoppers pays out cash to people who provide tips to law enforcement about criminal activity.
The amount of money in the fund had dipped to around $6,000. That's the lowest it's been since Tuscaloosa started the program.
