RAMER, AL (WSFA) -

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to arrests in three recent homicide cases in Montgomery.  That includes the death of Carmichael Teague, who was found dead on June 7th.

"For somebody to take his life, a day before his birthday, it's a horrible thing and I hope justice can be served behind this," said Willie McClain, Teague's grandmother.

Teague's body was found in the middle of Faro Drive.  Police said someone shot him.  Since then, family members from across the country have gathered in Ramer to come to grips with the loss.

"Real hard, really, really hard, a lot of pain and hurt," said Sandra Osborne, Teague's mother.  "The whole family and friends are feeling all the pain from this tragedy."

"I just don't understand how somebody can kill somebody who helps everybody," said Jerretta Teague, his aunt.

The family is grateful CrimeStoppers is offering a reward, but that doesn't ease the pain.

"Whoever knows anything about what happened to my brother, please just confess," said Alicia Jackson, Teague's sister.

The family is planning a candlelight vigil Friday night at the old Montgomery Mall parking lot.  They hope to draw more attention to the crime with someone will come forward with information.  Teague's funeral is planned for Saturday in Ramer.
