RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Russellville couple was arrested after they allegedly sent letters to each other describing sexual acts they wanted to perform on children.
Authorities said Jennifer Milam and Seth Alexander sent at least five letters to each other while they were in the Franklin County Jail on drug charges.
Investigators said the letters were explicit and detailed sexual acts they wanted to perform on children, some as young as 17-months-old. They named specific children in the letters.
Investigators said they did not carry out the acts. The Sheriff's Department was informed when someone said they found the letters and turned them in.
Milam was arrested and charged with five counts of facilitating the solicitation of unlawful sexual contact with a child under 16.
Alexander avoided capture until Thursday afternoon. He turned himself in to authorities around 3 p.m.
