Airbus to Build in Alabama

 

The European plane maker Airbus intends to build its first U.S. plant in Mobile. An anonymous source told the Associated Press the company will build A320s in the state. The plans are widely flown by U.S. Airlines, including Delta and US Airways.  

Alabama is under an increased threat of wildfires. We'll tell you what the Alabama Forestry Commission says is contributing to the more than 50 fires that have burned close to 700 acres statewide.

And more on the tragic end to the search for a mother who abandoned her children in Wetumpka. This afternoon, authorities found her body under water in a State Park.
