Update: Search for Missing man on Lake Jordan continues

ELMORE CO., AL (WSFA) -

Elmore County officials wrapped up day two of the extensive search for a missing man on Lake Jordan Sunday evening.

Police say the 67-year-old man was last seen falling into the water near the boat ramp of Lake Jordan Saturday morning. When authorities arrived to the scene, police found an empty boat circling the area.

 

The search was suspended due to darkness and safety concerns for rescue crews and will resume Monday morning at 7:00.
