Updated: Chemical spill shuts down traffic in North Montgomery

11:35 a.m. UPDATE: WSFA crews are on the scene and have confirmed North Court St. has been shut down between Race St and 6th St. until further notice.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA)- Crews are on the scene of a chemical spill in north Montgomery.

Montgomery Police say the spill has been deemed non toxic or non-hazardous at this point.

A 250 ft radius has been set up around the spill until it has been contained, and all roads leading to the are have been closed.

North Court street traffic has been shut down between Race Street and Fowler Street.

WSFA 12 News will keep you updated as the roads are reopened.
