Watch out! - WSFA.com Montgomery Alabama news.

Watch out!

Be on the look out state troopers this weekend! They started their yearly Independence Day blitz this morning, which continues through Sunday. Today at 5:00, we'll also look at what Marine Police are doing this holiday weekend to keep local waterways safe.

Join us for highlights of July 4th events around the state all evening. Our crews are in Prattville, Pike Road, Enterprise, you name it. And we'll preview tonight's events in Montgomery live from downtown.

Sadly, there is tragic news to report this holiday. Montgomery police are investigating the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy in the central part of the city. It appears to have been an accident. More details at 6:00.

Enjoy the day. I'll see you tonight.
