EUFAULA, AL (WSFA) -

Authorities say they've found evidence that shows a woman wanted by the State of California in connection to a murder case is in or near the Eufaula area of Barbour County.

While investigators would not stay exactly what the evidence was that would lead them to believe 32-year-old Angela Marie Law is in the east Alabama city, they are confident they're close. Investigators say Law may also be using an assumed name.

Law is being sought for helping a murder suspect, and is charged in Sacramento, California with accessory to a felony.

Authorities in the Golden State reached out to Alabama law enforcement due to Law's extensive family routes in South Alabama. She has family in Dothan, Eufaula and Slocomb, though none of those residents have been able to lead police to her.

Law is 5'6" tall, weighs 140lbs., has brown hair and blue eyes.

If you have any information that could help authorities capture her, you are asked to call your local police department.

Just like in Alabama where CrimeStoppers helps with rewards for the capture/prosecution of a suspect, California's Crime Alert offers the same potention for reward.
