CLANTON, AL (WSFA) -
Are you looking for a job? A privately held conglomerate of eight companies that sells products and services to railroads across the country, is about to start hiring and says it's looking to take on 50 or more employees during an upcoming job fair.
Boatright Companies says it is looking to hire workers for plants in both Clanton and Montevallo, Alabama.
A job fair is scheduled for Tuesday, July 10, 2012, and will be located at the Clanton Recreation Center, 305 1st Street North in Clanton. The job fair will last from 9am to 4pm as applicants interview for the open positions.
Boatright Companies says it wants to fill positions for fork lift operators, wheel loaders, and general laborers.
"We are excited to offer opportunities for job-seekers in these areas," said Shane Boatright, President and CEO of Boatright Companies. "In this economy to be able to fill so many positions, at one time in one industry, is remarkable."
Boatright Companies says it includes a wide range of companies servicing both Class 1 and short line railroads throughout the United States and internationally.
