UPDATE 12:36 a.m.- WSFA crews say all authorities have left the scene.  

Chief Joe Sedinger says authorities are working to confirm the person's identity at this time.

UPDATE 11:00 p.m.- WSFA crews on the scene say police have set up barricades at the intersection of Autauga County Road 85 and US Highway 31 North. 

Authorities are currently working in the wooded area across the street from the Citgo gas station.

BREAKING NEWS: Autauga County authorities have confirmed a body was found north of Prattville, off US Highway 31 North.

Chief Joe Sedinger says a death investigation is currently underway.
