MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
A Montgomery man is behind bars after colliding with a parked Alabama State Trooper vehicle on Sunday.
Officials say the unit was parked on the northbound side of I-65 with the emergency flashers on when Willie Ball crashed into the car, sparking a fire.
Ball was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Baptist South for treatment of minor injuries, before being transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Neither the trooper nor any of the emergency personnel at the scene were injured in the crash.
