MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
Traffic on I-85 southbound was re-routed for a short time Monday evening after authorities say a subject jumped from the E. Boulevard overpass on to I-85.
The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Motorists traveling on I-85 at the time were detoured on to the boulevard to bypass the area while crews worked to clear the scene.
Delays in the area are still possible as authorities work to investigate this incident, however the interstate is back open at this time.
No word yet on the identity or condition of the individual involved.
