KINSEY, AL (WSFA) -

An Alabama woman is in custody and awaiting extradition to Florida after authorities say she traveled to the Sunshine State to shoot her estranged husband and his girlfriend.

BayNews9.com, the website for a Tampa television station, reports that Aimee Streeter made a weekend trip during which time she seriously injured Tabarri Clayton and Janice Lucas, both 35.

Though the two were taken to an area hospital for serious injuries, both identified Streeter as the shooter, according to reports.

Streeter, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, is said to have waited on the girlfriend's arrival at home from church. That's when she shot Lucas five times. Clayton arrived at home a short time later at which time he was also shot.

The home, located in the Christina Community of Lakeland, Fla. is now surrounded by yellow crimetape.

WSFA 12 News spoke with the Houston County Sheriff's Department which confirmed contact with counterparts in Polk County Florida. Streeter's car was not at her Kinsey area home when officers arrived, but after making a return trip, authorities located and took her into custody.

Streeter was arrested on several warrants including: two counts of attempted murder, one count of armed burglary of a dwelling, one count of possession of a firearm or concealed weapon by a convicted felon, and one count of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

According to Bay9News.com, the victims have a child together.
