MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
A two vehicle accident on I-65 between the Alabama River bridge and the Clay Street exit slowed morning commuter traffic into Montgomery Wednesday morning.
State Troopers report that all lanes are now open and traffic is beginning to move again.
A WSFA employee reported that traffic was backed up at one time north of the Millbrook exit.
The crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. and involved two vehicles, a red Chevy S-10 pickup and a gray Dodge Charger.
The S-10 overturned and the driver received a minor injury. No one was ejected or entrapped in either vehicle.
The Montgomery Fire and Police Departments assisted and State Troopers will investigate the crash further.
