Kristen Saban has filed a response to the complaint of a former sorority sister Sarah Grimes that Saban attacked her over a Facebook posting.
The response claims that the fight wasn't as violent as Grimes' complaint suggests and that Grimes' injuries are from a 2005 fender bender, not Saban's attack.
According to the suit filed against Saban on June 26, the girls went out for a night of drinking with some other friends in August 2010. Near the end of the night, Grimes and Saban exchanged words before Saban posted "No one likes Sarah! Yayyyyy!" on her Facebook page. Grimes confronted Saban and, allegedly, this led to an attack by Saban.
Grimes had previously filed a lawsuit in Florida where the accident occurred. She claimed in that suit of suffering from headaches and migraines as well as feeling dizzy and disoriented.
On the night of the fight, Grimes allegedly wanted to go to the hospital not because she was concerned about any injuries she incurred, but because she wanted "to document this" for her car accident lawsuit because "what if it hurts my head even worse."

Saban's reponse partially confirms this story, but according to the document a witness to the fight said Kristen was "only defending herself as both of them [Kristen and Sarah] were throwing punches, with not many landing."
According to the response, Grimes was the one who instigated the attack, banging on Saban's closed door and yelling and cussing at Saban.
