ELMORE CO., AL (WSFA) -

Elmore County Sheriff's Department officials say the situation involving a downed power line along Highway 14 is now resolved.

A construction worker accidentally knocked over a power pole along the roadway between Elmore and Wetumpka. The live lines fell across the highway.

One lane of traffic was open and sheriff's officials alternated two way traffic as the power company repaired the downed lines.

There were no injuries reported.
