A 6-year-old Montgomery boy who was found in a swimming pool Tuesday has died at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, according the Montgomery Police Department.
The child and his grandmother, Rosie Lee Arrington, 39, were both found unresponsive in an apartment complex pool late Tuesday morning.
Fire medics treated the victims at the scene on McDonough Street before both were transported to hospitals.
Arrington was pronounced dead at Jackson Hospital shortly before noon Tuesday.
Authorities say they do not have any evidence of foul play and are of the belief that the deaths are accidental in nature.
